Job responsibilities:

  • Review the group consolidation process, including the review of consolidated financial statements.
  • Review monthly and quarterly management reports and prepare presentations for senior management, including variance analyses and financial insights.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, or other relevant accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with various subsidiaries and business units to gather and consolidate financial information.
  • Perform analytical review of consolidated financial statements and identify key variances.
  • Research and interpret accounting standards, regulations, and best practices to provide technical guidance on complex accounting issues.
  • Draft and review technical accounting papers, memos, and policy updates to ensure compliance and address emerging accounting issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including operations, legal and sales, to support financial integration and reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with IT and SAP consultants to implement and configure SAP modules related to financial consolidation and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or equivalent professional qualifications

CPA/ACCA or equivalent certification.

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting experience, with experience acquired in Big 4 and/or listed company is preferred.
  • Familiar with group accounting policies, tax requirement and internal control procedures. Experience in US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance is an advantage.
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA would be advantageous.
  • Self-motivated and high degree of initiative, high level of integrity with a strong sense of urgency
