  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

The Laboratory provides key support in conducting cutting-edge biomedical research and development with specific focus on rodent histology. As part of the dynamic team, you will be responsible for providing services in this laboratory to support the needs of researchers.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate specialised laboratory equipment to provide histopathology service to the research community.
  • Perform basic histopathology processing techniques such as paraffin/cryo embedding, cryotomy, microtomy, staining, etc.
  • Assist with the general logistics (equipment maintenance, inventory, housekeeping) and any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences or a related field.
  • Good basic laboratory skills and manual dexterity.
  • Familiarity with histopathology techniques and GLP would be an advantage.
  • Meticulous and organised with an ability to multi-task.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Able to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment.
