Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site Application System Engineer role located in Singapore at STSTC. Analyze tender’s requirements and prepare table of compliance to reflect tender’s requirements
- Design, develop system architecture of hardware and software components to meet tender requirements and specifications
- Manage project documentation, including specifications, single line drawings, and technical proposal
- Studying and understanding the technical specifications, capabilities, and functionality of the products
- Assisting to global sales channels by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Customise and design products or systems to meet specific order’s requirements
- Working on creating technical documentation, such as technical proposals and specifications;
- Conducting in-house tests and experiments to validate product performance and reliability under various settings
- Exposure to schematics and PCBs for interfaces design and review
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of in-house simulators testing facility
- Software assets inventory and licensing management
Qualifications
- Bachelor in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related discipline
- Min 1-2 years of relevant work experience in software-hardware solutions
- Hardware and software hands-on experience with complex networked computer system
- strong understanding of technical concepts related to the products including software and hardware components (computer interfaces, PCBA)
- Knowledge of CAD software for basic connection diagram preparation
- Technical writing experience (specifications, technical reports and single line drawings)
- Experience in working with maritime simulation technologies is a plus
