DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales & Customer Relationship Management
- Promote and sell waterproofing solutions to contractors, engineers, architects, and building owners.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Prepare and deliver product and technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while developing new partnerships.
- Collaborate with the technical team to troubleshoot and solve customer issues.
- Provide technical consultation to customers regarding the selection and use of waterproofing products.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and conferences to network and promote products.
- Always proactive in continuous learning of product information and technical detailing to provide technical solutions to consultants, architects, and engineers.
- Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry advancements in waterproofing technologies.
- Participate in site mock-up and testing as and when require.
Credit Management
- Monitor and control customer accounts receivable (outstanding/overdue) in order to minimize overdue and the risks of bad debt. To meet A/R target as per Agreed Target
Reporting
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Ensure accuracy of sales forecast so as to minimize high inventory situation and avoid short supply due to inaccurate sales forecast. To provide forecast – by customer, by products to ensure production plants to have sufficient information and lead time for planning and inventory
- To utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce on regular basis and ensure information is up to date
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Diploma/ Degree holder in Chemical/ Civil Engineering/ Architecture
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in the construction industry
- Experience in sales and specification works in construction industries will be an added advantage
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good command of English
- Able to work as a team and independently
- Possess a Singapore driving license
- Results oriented
