Job Description

  • Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
  • Study and interpret engineering drawings, manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
  • Prepare and load raw materials into the CNC machines.
  • Supervise CNC machines during production and make adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality and consistency.
  • Ensure all CNC programming written is in accordance with production blueprints and quality standards.
  • Continually maintain the CNC programming database.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose common CNC problems, consulting with manufacturer as necessary
  • Communicate with supervisors, engineers, production, quality control and other personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
  • Lead and supervise cnc program team to meet product quality and customers’ delivery expectation
  • Provide leadership and facilitation within the assigned area including planning, developing, implementing and evaluating ongoing operational issues
  • Coach and develop manufacturing technicians’ skills, establish job expectations and manage work performance
  • Plan, direct, supervise, and evaluate workflow
  • Recognize and recommend improvements to increase operational efficiencies
  • Participate in new project and performance report
  • Responsible for manufacturing technicians’’ discipline, attendance, safety and quality issues

Job Requirement

  • At least 3 years in supervisory role with 5 years or more work experience in Precision Engineering Industry and/or Manufacturing Industry with experience with Cad Cam a must.
  • Strong decision-making and troubleshooting skills and methods are essential
  • Must be able to communicate to both management and staff clearly and informatively.
  • Good team player, dynamic, energetic, self-drive, results-oriented
  • Proficiency with computer operations and programs such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal communicational skills
