Job Description
- Support the M&E Manager in managing and coordinating M&E-related tasks at the construction site.
- Monitor site progress and ensure the quality of installations aligns with approved Shop Drawings, Technical Submissions, and the Equipment/Material Procurement/Fabrication/Delivery Schedule to ensure timely project completion.
- Oversee the coordination of M&E drawings and the creation of CSD and individual service drawings, ensuring their quality standards.
- Conduct QA/QC inspections, manage RE and RTO, and ensure QA/QC compliance to keep the construction schedule on track.
- Handle the collection of variation order costs, verify the costs for VO works, and provide recommendations for VO pricing.
- Review, assess, and confirm the status of completed work and material quantities for M&E subcontractor/NSC vendor progress payments, including instructing the preparation of progress substantiation documents by subcontractors and vendors.
- Enforce safety standards at the site to ensure adherence to IMS safe work practices.
- Attend daily site coordination meetings and ensure effective communication and coordination with subcontractors.
Job Requirements
- A recognized Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Possession of SDME certification is a plus.
- At least 1.5 years of experience in overseeing and coordinating M&E services or building-related projects.
- Knowledge of BIM and AutoCAD would be advantageous.
Working Hours
- 5.5 days a week, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Full 6-day workweek for the first 6 months of employment).
