
Senior Account Executive Up to $5000
Our client a freight forwarding company established in China with 11 strong years of market presence. They specialize in e-commerce and traditional freight, handling about 15,000 tons of airfreight per month.
The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting practices and a strong understanding of financial processes within the logistics industry.
This position requires managing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
Responsibilities:
- Record and classify financial transactions: Accurately document daily financial transactions, including receipts, payments, invoices, and vouchers, in the accounting system while adhering to company policies and standards.
- Accounts payable and receivable management: Verify invoices, match them with purchase orders, schedule timely payments, issue invoices, monitor collections, and follow up on overdue accounts to optimize cash flow.
- Bank reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts with accounting records, identify discrepancies, and prepare reconciliation statements, ensuring accurate transaction recording.
- Assist in financial statement preparation: Provide data and support for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
- Inventory accounting: Support inventory valuation, tracking, and adjustments, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Expense reporting and control: Process expense claims, ensure compliance with policies, and provide reports to manage costs and identify savings.
- Tax compliance support: Organize financial data for tax filings, assist in preparing tax returns, ensure timely submissions, and stay updated on tax regulations.
- Maintain accounting files and records: Keep financial records well-organized and accessible in both digital and physical formats in compliance with retention policies.
Requirements:
- Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- More than 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the logistics industry.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
- Good numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
