Job Summary
We seek a highly motivated and experienced Operations Warehouse Lead to oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations. The successful candidate will lead a team of warehouse associates, ensure efficient inventory management, optimize processes, and maintain safety and quality standards. The Operations Warehouse Lead will play a key role in maintaining smooth and productive warehouse operations while adhering to deadlines and quality expectations
Key Accountabilities
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse associates, ensuring that tasks are completed in an efficient, timely, and safe manner.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to warehouse staff to improve performance and ensure adherence to operational standards.
- Oversee and manage day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products.
- Ensure proper inventory control, accuracy, and timely movement of products within the warehouse.
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment, ensuring that all safety regulations and company policies are followed.
- Supervise inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking of products, stock levels, and order fulfillment.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to maintain accurate inventory levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Assist with restocking and replenishment processes to ensure smooth operation and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Continuously assess and improve warehouse processes and workflows to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Identify and recommend improvements in warehouse layouts, material handling, and inventory storage.
- Collaborate with warehouse management to implement process changes and improvements to meet changing operational demands.
- Ensure that all warehouse activities meet safety standards and compliance regulations, including OSHA guidelines and internal procedures.
- Conduct regular safety checks and training sessions to minimize risks and ensure the safety of all warehouse staff.
- Oversee the quality control of incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment and product condition.
- Assist with generating and analyzing daily, weekly, and monthly reports on warehouse performance, inventory status, and productivity metrics.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock movements, and any issues encountered during warehouse operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics, with at least [Y] years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Proven track record of managing and leading a warehouse team to achieve operational goals.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other warehouse technology/tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and WMS-related software.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, shipping/receiving, order fulfillment, and warehouse processes.
