Qualifications / Requirements

  • Ph.D. degree in Stem Cells / Diabetes / Pancreas / Beta Cell / Metabolism disciplines or equivalent, awarded by an internationally recognized institution
  • A good publication track record
  • Extensive experience with mammalian stem cell culture, differentiation of human pluripotent stem cells and molecular biology techniques
  • Experience with genome-editing techniques such as the CRISPR-Cas9 system will be valued
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated, passion for science, committed to laboratory work and able to work flexible hours
  • Ability to multitask, work independently and also as part of a team
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
  • Experience in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation techniques, RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, Mass Spectrometry and bioinformatics will be valued
