Position: IT Manager (Security)
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for information security management policies, procedures and standardize security specifications and standards for information technology applications.
- Manage the design of Information Security architecture to support business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Lead team in Security operation activities to manage security tools, assess risks and respond to security threats.
- Provides direction on process improvements, remediating control gaps, and enhancing current tools for strengthening the overall information security control posture.
- Responsible on the analysis of identified incidents with timely respond strategy and actions to contain the threats.
- Conduct all security assessment and timely monitoring such as vulnerability and Penetration Test, red teaming, Cyber exercise, configuration monitoring, evaluating security defenses etc.
- Support audit fieldwork activities, ensuring that artefacts are gathered, vetted and provided in a timely manner.
- Support vendor due-diligence process on third-party risk management efforts.
- Plans, coordinates, drives and delivers Information Security projects and initiatives within the business according to established plans and timelines.
- Provide management reporting and updates on security operations performance and potential risks.
Education / Professional Qualification
- Degree in Information Technology, IT Security or Equivalent
- Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP), or other related certifications (e.g. CISM, CISA) preferred
Experience & Any Specific Skills Set Required
- Relevant work experience (>5 years) in IT Security related field.
- Passionate about security and maintain up-to-date knowledge of available and emerging security threats and various security technologies
- Experience and knowledge in local and international standards such as MAS TRM.
- Management experience for a small team of security engineers with working knowledge of security solutions.
- Possess good analytical, organizational, communications, leadership and interpersonal skills.
