We are seeking a talented and experienced Android App Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing patient- and clinician-facing apps for our medical devices.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy Android apps for medical devices, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, product managers, and quality assurance professionals to deliver high-quality software products.
- Follow best practices for design of complex Android apps using Kotlin.
- Familiarity with cross-platform framework Xamarin/MAUI preferred.
- Experience with the Android Bluetooth APIs preferred.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (ideally Couchbase) preferred.
- Work closely with regulatory affairs and compliance teams to ensure software development processes adhere to industry standards and regulations.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating them into software development strategies to drive innovation.
- Thorough understanding of MVVM Design Pattern
- Familiarity with cross-platform framework Xamarin/MAUI preferred.
- Experience with the Android Bluetooth LE APIs preferred.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (ideally Couchbase) preferred.
- Proven experience working with Kotlin and Android Studio
- Proven experience delivering quality Android application on Google Play Store
- Strong understanding of security principles in mobile applications.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience developing Native Android apps using Kotlin
- Familiarity with cross-platform framework Xamarin/MAUI preferred.
- Thorough understanding of MVVM Design Pattern
- Strong understanding of security principles in mobile apps.
- Experience with the Android Bluetooth LE APIs preferred.
- Proven experience delivering quality Android application on Google Play Store
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Prior experience from the healthcare or medical device industry would be an added advantage.
