Human Resources Operations Specialist
As a member of the HR Operations Team in the Regional Head Office for China and Asia Pacific region, the incumbent will partner and support the Functional Heads to manage, in a proactive and consultative approach, a full spectrum of HR functions which includes but not limited to the following:
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
HR Business Partnership
- Support Manager in partnering stakeholders and teammates in a proactive and consultative approach in executing and delivering a full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance management, talent management and development, employee engagement and other HR duties and projects as assigned.
- Partner with Manager and Regional HR Centre of Excellence Teams in the delivery of key HR initiatives / projects including HR policy and process reviews, employee engagement surveys, total rewards and payroll, talent development programs, performance management and talent review etc.
- Be the first point of contact to provide professional advice on the interpretation of HR policies and procedures, employment legislation, recruitment processes, talent and performance management, recruitment and total rewards strategies.
HR Policies, Processes and Systems
- Initiate improvements to internal HR processes, systems and communications towards enhancing service experience.
- Support Manager in reviewing and updating HR policies and practices in compliance with the local regulations and governances.
- Educate People Managers and teammates on policy/system changes and implications, as well as understand and gather their feedback and input.
- Provide advice to People Managers and teammates and manage the activities pertaining to employee engagement, performance management, conduct and discipline.
HR Budget, Reports and Analytics
- Support Manager in manpower planning, payroll and HR operations budgeting, analysis and forecasting, on annual and quarterly basis.
- Prepare monthly HR analytics reports to relevant stakeholders.
HR Operations:
- Lead the HR teammates in driving and executing employee engagement activities, such as HR orientation, HR briefing sessions, HR surveys and employee events.
- Participate in and support HR initiatives and ad hoc projects as assigned by the Manager.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources or related field
- At least 8 years' experience as a Senior HR Generalist especially in the areas of Performance Management, Learning and Development, Payroll, and Employee Relations.
- With a sense of maturity and be sensitive when dealing with confidential information.
- Strong communication skills with proven ability to persuade and convince others.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ambitious, pays attention to details and is a great team player.
- Independent, quick-learner, with high adaptability and possesses strong sense of responsibility.
- Highly proficient in MS Excel. Working knowledge of HRIS system (SuccessFactors, Timesoft) would have advantageous.
