Job Purpose

The Associate role is instrumental in supporting the organization’s strategic goals through data-driven insights to support decision making, cross-functional collaboration, and proactive project management.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Support Partnership Development and Relationship Management

  • Gather and analyse market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape
  • Review industry trends and assess emerging opportunities
  • Proactively identify strategic partnership opportunities through market research , summarize and make recommendations in alignment with the business goals and growth objectives
  • Support selected client management projects and maintain strong customer relationships

2. Strategic Support

  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans and initiatives across functions
  • Structuring and helping with issue identification and solutioning. Develop toolkits and processes to support strategy execution
  • Monitor the development of each initiative and project manage to ensure timely execution
  • Support due diligence for strategic partnerships and investments

3. Business Development Support

  • Make recommendations on growth opportunities and potential partnerships through the insights from market research and analysis
  • Assist in business case development and feasibility studies to capture potential commercial opportunities or partnerships

4. Communication:

  • Prepare presentations, reports and communications for stakeholders
  • Support the necessary preparation needed to facilitate meetings and workshops to drive strategic discussions and decision making

5. Drive Continuous Process Improvement:

  • Identify inefficiencies and opportunities to improve on business processes
  • Recommend and implement solutions to drive operational effectiveness and efficiencies
  • Develop and maintain metrics and KPIs to measure project performance and PMO effectiveness

Minimum Academic Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing or related field
  • A background in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline is advantageous

Minimum Relevant Experience:

  • 1-3 years of relevant working experience in strategic planning, business analysis, business development, or related fields.
  • Experienced in project management or cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, trends, and best practices.
  • Experience in Food Technology, Food Manufacturing or Consumer Goods industry is a plus
