Position Overview:
The incumbent is responsible for building a sustainable company’s employer brand, reputation, and advocacy, elevating the client’s organization in Singapore as a “One” Enterprise across all Divisions, both internally and externally.
This role will develop strategic change and communication roadmaps, implement integrated plans, and execute deliverables to achieve organization’s objectives as a leading and preferred employer:
- Work with organization’s Leaders, divisional change agents and communicators, and employees, as well as manage external stakeholders (including, but not limited to, government stakeholders, partners, and media platforms) to build/maintain our corporate brand and reputation.
- Build confidence, trust, and respect for organization to be positioned as a top employer to attract & retain talents.
The incumbent will also work closely with the DEI and Employee Business Resource Group (EBRG) network, sponsors, and champions, leading employee programs and initiatives such as SG Well Being to develop, orchestrate, and mobilize our branding strategy holistically.
The Specialist, Change Coordinator reports to the Chief-of-Staff of the Singapore Country Council.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Internal Change and Communications Programs:
- Communication on significant announcements, thought leadership, and strategic updates
- Collaborate with other Change and Communication Management teams to ensure communications are aligned with change initiatives
- Content development and programming of regular, company-wide town hall meetings
- Curate employee stories reflecting company culture, values, and diversity, promoting engagement and reinforcing the organization’s value proposition.
Reputation Building and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Broad change and communication strategy to enhance organization’s employer reputation through internal communications on company-wide business developments and employee engagement initiatives (e.g., CSR programs).
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement activities to gather input and feedback on change initiatives, ensuring that communications reflect employee perspectives and foster a sense of ownership and involvement.
- Build and maintain organization’s enterprise social media presence, highlighting change initiatives and corporate achievements to foster positive narratives in the external marketplace
- Activate proactive outreach to stakeholders, sharing enterprise brand stories and preparing executives for key events and stakeholder meetings to ensure effective messaging around changes.
- Identify external recognition opportunities to celebrate achievements related to change initiatives, elevating organization’s standing in the industry
Modernization of Communication Channels and Capacity Building:
- Modernize internal communication channels to effectively reach a diverse workforce, catering to varying needs and preferences during change initiatives.
- Leverage new technology (e.g., Gen AI) and introduce platforms like Microsoft Suite to facilitate real-time team communication and project management during change initiatives.
- Utilize multimedia formats—such as videos, infographics, and interactive content—to captivate employees and drive higher engagement levels, ensuring that critical messages are communicated effectively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field
- At least 2 years of working experience in change management activities
- Strong understanding of change management methodologies
- Familiarity with change management tools for effective team communication and collaboration.
- Ability to leverage emerging technologies, including Generative AI, to create engaging content such as graphics and videos.
- Good stakeholder management
- Strong strategic insight, particularly in understanding how corporate imperatives and narratives should be integrated into communications content
- Solid crisis management in developing content rapidly and aligning internal communication across the company and stakeholders, as well as skills in anticipating challenges and proactively addressing them through effective messaging
- Project management excellence, attention to detail, and effective time management
