
Commercial Support Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
1) Client Relationship Management:
• Serve as the POC for clients, providing timely updates and addressing inquiries to ensure service excellence.
• Maintain and grow customer loyalty, retention, and satisfaction.
• Build and encourage brand advocacy among our client base.
2) Sales and Operational Coordination:
• Assist in preparing proposals, quotes, and contracts for our service offerings.
• Coordinate and track ongoing sales opportunities, ensuring that client needs and deadlines are met.
• Upsell services to enhance client value.
• Adapt to varying customer profiles and styles to provide personalized support.
• Proactively anticipate client needs and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
3) Administrative Support:
• Assist in preparing internal reports, tracking sales KPIs, and analysing customer feedback.
• Help with organizing meetings, calls, and presentations with clients, including preparing necessary materials
• Assist in handling billing enquires and clarifications.
4) Market and Client Insights:
• Assist in identifying new commercial clients, exploring opportunities for growth.
• Monitor industry trends to stay informed of new regulations, services, or technology that could impact client retention and sales
5) Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate with internal teams (internal stakeholders) with effective communications to ensure seamless service delivery and client experience.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management, Maritime Studies, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in customer relations, sales support, or commercial roles, preferably within the maritime or transportation industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients at all levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Problem-solving ability and a client-first mindset.
