What the role is:You lead a team to process and perform analysis of cyber threats and their likely intent in targeting Singapore and the Defence Sector.What you will be working on:- Lead a team to implement technical solutions - Oversee analysis of technical indicators from different sources - Generate intelligence reports to support the overall cyber defence mission - Establish and maintain good linkages with internal and external cyber-tech entities Challenge(s) - Maintaining currency in the tactics, techniques and procedures used by threat actors - Keeping abreast of the technological changes and the potential threats associated with these changesWhat we are looking for:- Education in Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field - At least 8 years of relevant work experience - At least one advanced professional certification or industry-recognised qualification related to cyber security (e.g., GX-IH, GX-IA, GX-CS, OSED, OSEP, etc.) - Proficiency in programming languages, operating system concepts, network protocols, network security, and cybersecurity solutions - Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills - Resourcefulness and adaptability Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.About MINDEF:The mission of MINDEF and the Singapore Armed Forces is to enhance Singapore's peace and security through deterrence and diplomacy, and should these fail, to secure a swift and decisive victory over the aggressor.
