- Drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of commercial contracts ranging from procurement contracts, licensing arrangements, event/marketing collaboration agreements, innovation proof of concept arrangements to development projects within the Changi precinct. Advising on a wide variety of legal, regulatory and compliance issues which may arise in the usual course of business;
- Enhancing, implementing and supporting the CAG Data Protection Management Programme which may include advising and supporting the business in launching new projects and initiatives (including overseeing the conduct of data protection impact assessments), developing and coordinating communications and trainings for awareness and education purposes, managing incident response in the event of a personal data incident, reviewing policies and procedures in view of relevant developments, changes in laws and regulations and international best practices.
- A minimum of 2-5 years post qualification experience and be from an established in-house legal team or established private practice law firm with relevant experience;
- The ability to handle a range of time sensitive client demands while providing succinct, practical and accurate legal advice;
- Excellent communication and drafting skills, including an ability to write clearly and concisely using a tone of voice suitable for non-legal stakeholders;
- Experience advising on data protection matters, internationally recognized data privacy certifications (e.g. CIPP/A, CIPP/E) would be advantageous; and
- A collaborative approach with the ability to engage with all levels of stakeholders. A positive attitude, curious mind and willingness to learn are all essential attributes.
