We have an opportunity for an intern to assist the Reinsurance Accounting team with administrative tasks and projects. This position will be reporting to the Reinsurance Accounting Team Leader. It is ideal for current students or recent graduates who are interested in gaining a better understanding of the insurance industry.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
  • Support on checking of premium and claims bordereau from clients.
  • Support on IFRS 17 project.
  • Support on quality assurance checks.
  • Support the company in organising and planning Corporate Responsibility events.
  • Any other required duties, projects and tasks as assigned by the line manager or team members.
Key Requirements / Experience / Skills
  • Able to commit for 6 months (January to June or July to December) for at least 3 days a week. Priority will be given to students who are able to commit for 6 months on a full-time basis.
  • Currently working towards a university degree in a related field (Accountancy, Business, Economics, Finance etc.).
  • Eligible to work in Singapore (Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident).
  • Fluency in English is mandatory and fluency in other Asian languages is advantageous.
  • Knowledge or prior experience in an insurance related company is advantageous.
  • Strong desire to learn the ropes in preparation for a career in the insurance industry.
  • Team player with strong service quality mind-set, adaptable, analytical, independent, meticulous, proactive, reliable, resilient, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
  • Very strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
