Position Overview:
The Channel Sales Manager drive sales growth through strategic partnerships with software resellers and accounting firms. You will work closely with our sales, marketing, and customer success teams to promote our cloud-based accounting software, expand our reseller network, and ensure our solutions meet the needs of accounting professionals and firms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, at least 2 years of sales or business development experience, and a proven ability to build relationships and drive revenue through channel partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new software resellers and bookkeeping firms to promote our cloud-based accounting solutions.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key channel partners.
- Develop and execute partner business plans that align with company goals and target markets.
- Collaborate with channel partners to develop customized sales strategies and drive adoption of our software within their client base.
- Support resellers in closing deals by providing product knowledge, sales tools, and ongoing assistance throughout the sales cycle.
- Monitor and track sales performance of channel partners, ensuring KPIs and revenue targets are met or exceeded.
- Market Insights & Reporting:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions relevant to accounting software and cloud-based solutions.
- Provide feedback and insights to internal teams to help refine product offerings, marketing strategies, and sales approaches.
- Prepare regular reports on channel performance, sales forecasts, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in a software, SaaS, or technology-related industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and the needs of accounting professionals and bookkeeping firms.
- Proven track record of building and managing successful channel partnerships.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese languages, and good writing skills in English is a mandatory requirement.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with partners and clients.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand customer needs and translate them into sales opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business goals.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Education:
- A degree in Business, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
