We have an opportunity for an intern to assist the Property & Client Management team with administrative tasks, projects, and research. This position will be reporting to the Property & Casualty Client Manager. It is ideal for current students or recent graduates who are interested in gaining a better understanding of the insurance industry.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
  • Assist in drafting and preparing business cases and research papers.
  • Assist in queries from colleagues within and outside of the department.
  • Assist in the analysis of performance for assignment portfolio.
  • Gather data and perform secondary research on markets in the region.
  • Prepare presentation slides for client meetings and internal discussions.
  • Support the company in organising and planning Corporate Responsibility events.
  • Any other required duties, projects and tasks as assigned by the line manager or team members.
Key Requirements / Experience / Skills
  • Able to commit for 6 months (January to June or July to December) for at least 3 days a week. Priority will be given to students who are able to commit for 6 months on a full-time basis.
  • Currently working towards a university degree in a related field (Actuarial Science, Business, Economics, Finance etc.).
  • Eligible to work in Singapore (Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident).
  • Fluency in English is mandatory and fluency in other Asian languages is advantageous.
  • Knowledge or prior experience in an insurance related company is advantageous.
  • Strong desire to learn the ropes in preparation for a career in the insurance industry.
  • Team player with strong service quality mind-set, adaptable, analytical, independent, meticulous, proactive, reliable, resilient, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
  • Very strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
