Job Function Summary

As a Business Management Intern, you will support the Fixed Income & Commodities Business Managers. We are seeking a resourceful intern who will work alongside internal Core Infrastructure, Fixed Income & Commodities Portfolio Managers, and the Sell Side to drive key initiatives and projects aimed at growing and evolving the Fixed Income & Commodities business.

This role requires a minimum full-time commitment of 2 months.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Assist Business Managers in supporting the Fixed Income & Commodities teams across Singapore, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.
  • Support project management for new business initiatives within the Fixed Income & Commodities sector.
  • Collaborate extensively with Risk, Tech, Operations, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and HR on matters related to Portfolio Managers.
  • Ensure a positive and effective experience for Portfolio Managers using the Millennium platform.

Qualifications/Skills Required

  • Education: Graduate degree from an accredited institution preferred; undergraduate degree holders with excellent academic results and demonstrated fit are welcomed to apply.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Strong financial client-facing skills with the ability to develop and enhance internal relationships across the firm; works collaboratively.
  • Proactive Attitude: Takes ownership and accountability.
  • Project Management: Exceptional project management skills with the ability to assist on projects from inception to completion.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills required for in-depth review and analysis.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven success in engaging with stakeholders and senior management.
  • Prioritization: Ability to prioritize in a fast-moving, high-pressure, constantly changing environment; high sense of urgency.
