Objective

  1. Focus on pursuing strategic and sizeable client opportunities in partnership with leaders and practitioners
  2. Focus on winning, structure and process , while delivering a healthier pipeline of strategic opportunities, supporting delivery throughout the pitch process and ultimately driving revenue.

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to lead growth efforts for Dentsu Creative Singapore

  1. Achieve business results by collaborating with business leaders and practitioners in Singapore and across APAC
  2. Establish and execute the growth strategy focused on new logo and cross/up-sell to existing clients
  3. Oversee demand generation, account growth planning and proactive targeting strategy for driving pipeline volume
  4. Manage a large pipeline of deal flow and enforces adherence to the standard growth methodology
  5. Develop and leverage strong working relationships with leadership to align on targeted services, strong value propositions, pricing, process and support structure to drive growth

Key Accountabilities

Commercial Edge

  1. Design a plan to seize new business opportunities and achieve annual targets. Track, measure and communicate progress against these.
  2. Build prospect pipeline and continuously strive to identify and convert target prospects that extend brand reputation, build profitable relationships
  3. Proactively build credible relationships across dentsu to identify and action cross selling opportunities that maximise income

Strategic Focus

  1. Unite with business leadership teams and other specialists to identify, set targets and action new business development opportunities across existing and potential clients
  2. Own and implement strategic events to showcase Dentsu Creative expertise and strategic thought leadership to current and potential clients, key industry stakeholders and broader business community
  3. Keep pace with change, continuously ensure self and team have strong insights into external market conditions, global macroeconomic trends and their likely future impact. Use to deliver innovative, strategic new business solutions

External Relationship Management

  1. Use branded communication as a platform to engage credibly with clients, industry stakeholders and wider business community at the most senior level to build stronger relationships
  2. Work with network to build target prospect list and maximise new business opportunities at every touch point
  3. Consult with clients and prospects to sell innovative new business solutions

Delivery Excellence

  1. Resource and unite team to deliver winning client pitch content
  2. Collaborate with Strategy and Client leadership communities to create and manage client (current and prospect) list. Implement contact action plan to maximise income
  3. Galvanise team across to collaborate and make business development a priority to deliver targets

Experience, Professional Skills & Qualifications

  1. At least 10 years of experience in sizeable new business development (local and regional)
  2. Strong commercial edge
  3. Experience in a similar capacity in a broad range of global MNCs, working with multiple markets and cultures
  4. Excellent project management skills, capable of helping to run large-scale pitches
  5. Razor-sharp attention to detail
  6. Ability to develop strategic plans/ideas
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication.
  8. An understanding of creative, experience design, technology and media, and ‘packaging’ of ideas/presentations.
  9. Identifies key market and consumer trends
  10. Works collaboratively and with purpose
  11. Understands how to deliver through and with others in a way that motivates and drives high performance
  12. Leads by example and work with an attitude of ‘it’s up to me to make it happen’
