Commissioning Engineer (Various Disciplines)
Responsibilities:
- Prepares procedures, work method statements, and risk assessments for mechanical, process, safety, HVAC, piping, and electrical commissioning activities.
- Customizes CMS database checksheets and allocates checksheets based on the latest engineering drawing revisions and punchlist updates for mechanical, process, safety, and HVAC disciplines.
- Prepares boundary drawings as per subsystem listings.
- Attends Factory Acceptance Tests at vendors' premises, as required.
- Takes necessary precautions to ensure the work site is safe for testing/ commissioning. Valid PTW system is in place and affected area is barricaded
- Leads a team for the preparation and site execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning, and function testing of mechanical equipment and vendor equipment packages on the topsides.
- Reviews commissioning shipped-loose items, consumables, and spares for proper inventory and availability.
- Reviews system and sub-system completion status for taking over from the Construction Team as per the commissioning schedule and priorities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering disciplines, Diploma holders with relevant experience are welcomed to apply
- Minimum 2 years of relevant commissioning experience in the marine industry
- Entry Level candidates are welcome to apply (On Job Training will be provided)
- Candidates with relevant experience may be considered for a senior role
