Job Description
- Responsible for leading and managing the full life cycle R&D projects / programme and product delivery by planning, organizing, executing and evaluating from conception to completion.
- Lead project scoping with internal and external stakeholders to establish communication plans, build project / programme schedules and establish clear project / programme deliverables and milestones.
- Ensure successful delivery of project / programme scope and targets while managing project / programme risk, quality, delivery, scope, schedule, and budget.
- Programme manager will be leading the programme proposal to secure funding and coordinate cross-project activities to accomplish strategic objectives by overseeing multiple project activities across various research institutes
- Spearhead design, development, and delivery of R&D solutions to customers through active leadership of motivating and facilitating research rigour across multiple research institute project teams
- Lead and drive quality, procurement, finance and legal challenges
- Drive design / process validation testing, best practices and ensure compliance to project lifecycle governance requirements
- Ability to demonstrate a good level of understanding of technical / engineering processes and lead teams throughout the project development cycle.
- Lead, monitor and report the progress of the multiple projects / programme to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage and implement project / programme changes and interventions to achieve project deliverables and mitigate risk.
- Interact with industry members and ensure effective communication throughout the project life cycle
- Bachelor, Masters, or PhD in any science / engineering / project management related discipline
- At least 5 years of project management experience in product development or research project would be preferable
- PMP certifications or equivalent will be advantageous
- Proactive team player motivated to solve problems, innovate, deliver to internal and external customers, and achieve project goals and deadlines
- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
