IT executive, TECHNOLOGY & IT
The IT Executive (Infrastructure) will support and maintain the organisation’s IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across hosting services, networks, telecommunications, security systems, and end-user computing. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, proactive problem-solving, and collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hosting (Including Cloud):
- Manage on-premises and cloud-hosted services, ensuring system availability and performance.
- Support cloud migration initiatives and optimise cloud infrastructure for cost and efficiency.
- Active Directory:
- Administer Active Directory, including user provisioning, access control, and group policies.
- Ensure directory services are secure, reliable, and compliant with organisational policies.
- Network (LAN, WAN, WLAN):
- Configure, monitor, and maintain local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN) and wireless networks (WLAN).
- Troubleshoot network issues and ensure optimal connectivity and security.
- Telecommunications:
- Support voice and data communication systems, including VoIP and mobile services.
- Coordinate with service providers to ensure reliable and cost-effective telecommunications.
- CCTV & Access Control:
- Manage and maintain CCTV systems and access control systems to ensure security and compliance.
- Provide support for video surveillance and access management software.
- End-User Computing:
- Provide technical support to end-users, ensuring timely resolution of hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers, printers, and peripherals.
- Sensors:
- Support and monitor IoT sensors used in infrastructure and operations.
- Ensure sensors are functioning correctly and data is collected and transmitted securely.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in IT infrastructure support, including networks, systems, and security.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Active Directory, LAN/WAN/WLAN networking, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with CCTV, access control systems, and telecommunications.
- Basic knowledge of IoT sensors is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
