JOB SCOPE
The role of the Room Attendant/Room Steward is to ensure that the rooms are well cleaned and tidy ready to sell to the guests.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Check and stock up all the necessary linens and supplies required for the day.
To check all room status is the same as on the Room Attendant daily report. To report any discrepancy found to the Supervisor immediately.
Replenish all amenities according to the Operational Standards.
Responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance of her/his work area and ensure security of guestrooms and privacy of guests.
Check and report faulty items that needed repair to the Floor Supervisors/Housekeeping office while in the process of cleaning the guestrooms.
Report and hand in any Lost and Found items to the Floor Supervisors/Housekeeping office.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum secondary education or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience in housekeeping or related field.
Able to understand and communicate.
Knowledge in use of vacuum cleaner and proper chemicals handling.
Functional knowledge in room cleaning.
Hardworking team player with pleasant personality.
