Implement the company’s procurement strategy to meet the company’s development needs and material requirements (delivery quality, lead time, and competitive pricing).
Responsible for the development of new materials and sample approvals.
Manage material localization efforts, such as for IT hardware, cables, wires, electronic components, etc.
Responsible for the development, evaluation, and qualification review of new suppliers in collaboration with relevant departments.
Manage suppliers and procurement materials, regularly evaluate supplier performance to drive continuous improvements in on-time delivery (OTD), quality, price, and service.
Drive cost reduction initiatives and achieve annual price reduction targets, negotiate supplier contracts and agreements.
Assist the buyer team in handling price, quality, delivery issues, and other unforeseen events.
Effectively communicate across functional teams and resolve issues.
Job Requirement:
Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Material Engineering or any Engineering field or equivalent.
Possess experience in purchasing IT parts & electronic mechanical in manufacturing knowledge in ERP is a plus.
Team player with a positive attitude and organized in administrative duties.
Sense of urgency and able to cope in fast pace environment.
Strong negotiation and material management skill.
Able to commence work at a short notice or immediate will be an advantage
