Infant Care Teacher (Islandwide)

Job Description:

• Provide nurturing care for infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
• Implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate infants’ physical, cognitive, and emotional development.
• Foster a positive and supportive environment that encourages infants' social interactions and curiosity.
• Monitor infants’ health and development, and report any concerns to parents and management.
• Establish and maintain good communication with parents regarding their child's progress, routines, and needs.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning and caregiving experience.
• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of infant care resources and materials.

Requirements:

• A Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or Infant Care, or an equivalent qualification.
• Certification in Infant and Toddler Care (if applicable).
• A passion for working with infants and young children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of child development milestones and early childhood practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Patient, caring, and responsible attitude toward child care.
