Senior Security Officer
Job Purpose:
Responsible for protecting assigned premises, assets and personnel and expected to detect and deter potential threats. Provide concierge security services, detect security threats and manage incidents.
Job Responsibilities:
1) Attend to enquiries from members / guests
2) Regulate traffic and crowds
3) Operate security system whenever is required
4) Provide secondary support to incident and emergency responses
5) Assist authorities in law enforcement
6) Investigate security-related incidents and car park refunds
7) Feedback to supervisor regarding the performance and conduct of outsourced security agency
8) Others
- Follow the workplace safety and health system, safe work procedures or safety rules implemented at the workplace.
- Not engage in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger yourself or others working around you.
- Use personal protective equipment provided to you to ensure your safety while working. You must not tamper with or misuse the equipment.
- Any other duties as assigned by the General Manager/ Management
Requirements:
- Minimum ‘O’ level / Professional Certificate. Applicants without the minimum qualification but with proven experience and WSQ Supervisory qualification is acceptable.
- 2 - 5 years of relevant working experience is acceptable
- Effective communication skills
- Physically fit
- Vigilant and decisive
- Upholds a professional image when interacting with various stakeholders
- Team player
- Ability to work unpredictable hours, including some evenings and weekendsSecondary education with relevant experience.
- Must possess a valid Police Licensing and Regulatory Department (PLRD) Licence.
- Able to work on weekends and Public Holidays.
- Willing to work on 12 hours shift pattern day and night.
