Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with financial record-keeping, budgeting, reporting, and supporting the financial operations of the company. The Finance Administrator will ensure that all financial processes are carried out in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
· Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
· Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process incoming and outgoing payments, track outstanding invoices, and manage vendor relationships.
· Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist Head of Finance and directors in the preparation of budgets, track expenses, and provide recommendations for cost control.
· Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, project management tracking and cash flow statements for management review.
· Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
· Tax Filing Support: Assist in the preparation of tax returns, ensuring accurate and timely submission to authorities.
· Compliance & Auditing: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and policies, assist with internal and external audits when necessary.
· Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the finance team, including scheduling meetings, preparing financial documents, and handling correspondence.
Requirements
· Proven experience as a Finance Administrator or in a similar financial role
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations and tax laws
· Proficiency in accounting software (E.G. TBC) and Microsoft Office Suite
· Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
· Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
· Relevant certification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred
Additional Skills
· Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting
· Knowledge of industry-specific financial systems or software
· Certification in finance or accounting (e.g. CPA, ACA) is plus
