Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing intervention programs that help children develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills.   • Collaborate with other professionals to create and implement effective multidisciplinary intervention programs.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of progress and modify intervention strategies as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education sessions to improve clinical practice and stay updated with new developments in the field.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, including maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) or eligibility to obtain registration.
  • Relevant work experience in pediatric occupational therapy is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of developmental disorders, sensory integration, and motor learning principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with children, parents, and team members.
