Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for leasing of retail spaces and pop-up locations at MBS.
  • Develop leasing strategy which aligns with overall IR retail strategy and execute plans to achieve desired retail mix and rental budget of the mall.
  • Lease management - comprising prospecting, sourcing of new desired retail concepts, marketing and negotiation for new and lease renewals and any other lease-related matters.
  • Identify new retail trends and opportunities for retail spaces.
  • Manage leasing inquiries and database.
  • Review and ensuring lease documentation is completed in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders; e.g. with Retail Tenancy Co-ordination team for renovation matters; with legal on completion of lease documentation, etc.
  • Building good Landlord-Tenant rapport for on-going discussions with regards to tenants’ performance and business direction.
  • Conducting competitive market research and monitor key retail market trends.
  • Preparation of budget and reports.
Job Requirements

Education & Certification
  • Bachelor Degree in Business or Real Estate Management.

Experience
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in leasing role of a major shopping centre or retail agency or retail group.

Other Prerequisites
  • Have a track record of concluding negotiation and leases with retailers.
  • Experience with luxury retailers.
  • Familiarity and strong interest in F&B.
  • High level of organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Resourceful and able to work independently.
