Job Description:We are looking for an experienced Centre Director to lead our Nursing Home operations, drive transformational initiatives, and enhance resident care experience. The ideal candidate will oversee strategic planning, quality improvements, and technological integration while managing stakeholder relationships and developing staff. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader who can balance operational excellence with person-centric care delivery.Key Responsibilities:Stakeholders and Regulators' Engagement
  • Responsible for strengthening the relationships with stakeholders (e.g. MOH, AIC), community care organizations, public health institutions, grassroots organizations, the community at large, and seniors and seniors' next-of-kins
Operations
  • Responsible for the operations of the Home, including meeting the KPIs set by MOH and AIC
  • Ensures that services provided are in compliance with policies, service standards and applicable laws and regulations
  • Ensures that the clinical and business processes are implemented according to statutory requirements and standards
  • Ensures that the facility and equipment are well-maintained, welfare of seniors a key priority
Resource Management
  • Leads and coaches staff, as well as attracts and retains qualified staff, to achieve optimal staff strength
  • Facilitates staff development and competencies upgrading, in-house training, and implements new processes, where appropriate
Continuous Quality Improvement
  • Implements continuous quality improvement activities with the operations, clinical and support teams
  • Directs and participates in the collection and analysis of data to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Analyses trends and changing needs of the residents in institutional settings
Budgets and Profitability
  • Works with Finance on the development of an operating and capital budget for the Home
  • Provide a budget to actual financial statements for management purposes. Prepare interim budgets as required by the Management team
  • Responsible for managing resources and expenses, ensuring operational sustainability
  • Provides accurate and complete information needed for the preparation of financial reports as required by law or certification, registration or accreditation status
Balanced Scorecard
  • Responsible for ensuring that the Home meets targets on the Balanced Scorecard
  • Responsible for ensuring that the information is reported to the Management team
Qualifications:You should have:
  • At least a Bachelor Degree
  • At least 3 years or more leadership experience in the healthcare industry
Other Information:It would be great if you have:
  • Clinical background
  • Excellent analytical skills, interpersonal and communications skills
  • Sound knowledge of community resources and long term care services
