
Senior Accountant/Assistant Finance Manager
Responsibilities:
-Oversee full sets of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial statements.
-Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and IFRS.
-Ensure timely and accurate financial closing, reconciliation, and reporting.
-Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, providing analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
-Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance, recommending improvements where necessary.
-Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
-Support tax filing, GST reporting, and corporate tax compliance.
-Implement and enhance internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
-Assist in financial planning, cost management, and risk assessment.
-Support system enhancements and process improvements to optimize financial operations.
-Mentor and guide junior finance team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
-CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
-Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
-Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial compliance.
-Proficiency in accounting software SAP and Microsoft Excel.
-Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
-Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
-Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
-Experience in process automation or digital finance transformation is an advantage.
