Reporting to the Business Application Manager, the role will handle day-to-day support as well as lead/manage initiatives related to SAP within APAC region and strongly interacting with Global IT team.
Key activities:
- Lead and manage SAP SD-MM implementation and enhancement projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project plans.
- Design, configure, and optimize SAP SD-MM modules to meet business requirements and improve operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) solutions, ensuring seamless integration with SAP systems and external partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and deliver effective solutions.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and user adoption.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices, and recommend improvements to existing processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain audit readiness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience as an SAP SD-MM Consultant, with a strong focus on EDI integration.
- Proven experience in managing SAP projects and delivering solutions within the APAC region.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and MM (Materials Management) modules.
- Strong understanding of EDI standards, protocols, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Willingness to travel within the APAC region if required and strong interactions with Global IT Team, located in France.
Working Systems Knowledge (besides Microsoft Office)
- Strong functional and technical experience in the SAP SD-MM modules, and integration with other modules.
- Deep understanding of Order-To-Cash (OTC), Supply Chain (SC) & Integrated Business Planning (IBP) business processes like: sales order processing, order fulfilment, consignment process and returns process.
- In-depth knowledge of iDoc processing for EDI transactions.
- Understand how SAP authorization works.
Nice to have Experience/knowledge
- Have gone through at least 1 full cycle of SAP implementation.
- Participated in global systems implementation / roll-outs.
- To have worked in an international context.
- 3rd party systems integration knowledge.
- General knowledge of Cloud Computing, Mobility, SAP Business Objects.
- Exposure to ABAP debugging skills – with proven usage in production support environment
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, ITIL
- Basic Accounting or Logistics certification.
