Responsibilities
- Track, monitor and provide assessment of ESG, and specifically EPR-related, policy issues and their implications to SHEIN’s business and operations
- Develop and provide recommendations to senior management and relevant internal teams on strategies to manage public policy risks related to EPR regulations
- Develop and communicate SHEIN’s corporate positions on EPR policies and regulations to external stakeholders
- Drive and coordinate plans with relevant internal teams to ensure SHEIN’s regulatory compliance with EPR regulations
- Develop and implement strategic partnerships with external stakeholders (e.g. non-governmental and international organisations, industry associations, government officials and regulators, other industry and business organisations) related to ESG broadly
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or professional certification in ESG, Environmental Science or Policy, Climate Change or other sustainability related fields
- At least 8 years of working experience in ESG-related fields
- Experience in public policy research, development and analysis, or regulatory compliance in either public or private sector
- Exposure to strategy work within a government agency or corporate would be advantageous
- Strong project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver and execute projects and partnerships
- Strong analytical, presentation (written and oral) and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and have exceptional attention to detail while operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
