Roles & Responsibilities

1. Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, filing, and using the MYOB accounting system.

2. Prepare detailed balance sheet schedules and assist in reconstructing current-year opening figures.

3. Gather and organize supporting documents for balance sheet schedules.

4. Perform photocopying and scanning of supporting documents.

5. Maintaining accurate financial records by preparing accounting schedules and reconciling general ledger accounts.

6. Retrieve and analyze previous years’ accounting data using the MYOB system.

7. Timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.

8. Collaborate with team members to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple accounting tasks.

9. Perform other tasks incidental to the above responsibilities, as required.

Requirements

1. At least a Diploma in Accounting. The candidate must be graduated from a local institution, preferably from local Polytechnics, NUS or NTU.

2. At least 2 to 3 years of related working experience.

3. Good knowledge of MYOB accounting software.

4. Highly skilled at MS Excel Applications.

5. Able to take instructions from the Corporate Account and the management.

6. Possess strong integrity and immaculate work ethics.

7. Active listening. critical thinking, strong problem-solving skills.

8. Well-organized, meticulous and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.

9. Motivated self-starter, resourceful and independent.

10. Strong business integrity and holds sensitive information in confidence.

11. Able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

12. Confident, resilient, strong analytical capacity and able to nurture a positive work environment in challenging circumstances.

13. Be respectful to colleagues, internal and external stakeholders and be inclusive in a multi-cultural work environment.

14. Fluent in English (both written and spoken is required); other languages would be an advantage.

15. Able to start immediately will be an advantage.
