
FACILITIES PROJECT MANAGER / CENTRAL / MON - FRI / UP TO $6K
Role: Facilities Project Manager
Duration: 1 year (Extendable)
Working Hours: Mon - Fri, Office Hours
Location: Central
Salary: Up to $6k
The role we are looking for an experienced Facilities Project Manager to join the team. You will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of facilities-related projects. This role involves managing maintenance, renovations, and construction within the venue. You will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet safety and quality standards. Additionally, you will coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project operations, aligning with Suntec's overall goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Establish the Project Budget and Project Schedule which includes but not limited to analyzing budgets and estimation of project costs.
- Identify the Employer’s need and develop the Project Brief.
- Advise the Management on the selection and appointment of the project team.
- Administer the appointment of project consultants.
- Lead the project team
- Effective implementation and successful completion of projects undertaken by the Company within schedule, cost and quality.
- Effective management of each phase of the project from design to implementation to completion and to meet clients’ requirements.
- Manage project financial management and report on the progress of the projects to the Management.
- Attend Project meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on progress of construction and report on a regular basis to Management.
- Manage communications, integration and flow of design/project information.
- Manage design delivery, construction programmes/schedules and construction critical path networks.
- Review proposed designs to identify if they remain consistent with the project brief.
- Advise on procurement strategy, tender evaluation and contractor selection.
- Control, monitor and report on project progress.
- Oversee work on site strictly meeting targets.
- Maintain project safety standards in accordance to ISO45001 standards
- Perform standards of workmanship that meet the project requirements that are consistent with the industry best practices.
- Provide comprehensive daily updates to the Management on project status
- Manage the handover process at completion
Who we look for:
- Must have experience in handling renovation, interiors and projects of value 1 million and above.
- Degree in Engineering with 3 years (or Diploma with 5 years) with building/construction related project experience.
- Good leadership and communication skills with acumen for risk management.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- High level of fitness for extensive walking and climbing ladders and stairs.
- Resilient, pro-active and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritise and organize activities in real-time.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Experienced in planning resources effectively and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to make quick, informed decisions and work under pressure.
- Comfortable with technology and paperless business processes.
