Trade Finance Associate

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist to prepare and review trade finance applications, documentation and other trade finance instruments, adhering to global trade regulations and company policies.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of trade finance documents and resolve any discrepancies to facilitate seamless transactions.
• Liaise with banks and financial institutions to track the progress of trade finance applications and transactions.
• Work closely with the commercial, operations teams and counterparties to coordinate timely shipment of goods and manage trade finance-related communication.
• Support in monitoring trade finance transactions, payment timelines, and collections.
• Maintain proper records and documentation for trade finance activities and transactions.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Min. 1-2 years of experience in trade finance, international banking, or a similar role.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple trade finance transactions simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and mitigate trade-related risks.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good communication and interpersonal skill to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environments.
