The Senior Manager, Sourcing & Procurement is a key strategic leader responsible for driving procurement excellence across the organization. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of procurement strategies that cover all classes of trade and ensure alignment with the organization’s overall objectives.
  • Develop, negotiate, and manage procurement frameworks, policies, and guidelines, ensuring compliance with industry standards and legal requirements. Lead and oversee the competitive bid process to secure the best value for the organization.
  • Oversee and manage the procurement budget, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and identifying opportunities for cost savings and value generation.
  • Identify opportunities to support the development of thought leadership deliverables such as publications, presentations, and webinars. Advise executive leadership on procurement strategies that drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, delivering unique value through strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives that align with organizational goals.
  • Prepare and deliver future-focused, compelling presentations for executive leadership and internal groups, covering multiple strategic areas such as procurement trends, risk management, and process improvements.
  • Lead the implementation of complex projects, including sourcing integration efforts, process optimization, and system enhancements. Drive initiatives to improve procurement processes across the organization.
  • Take on any other projects or tasks assigned by the manager, contributing to the overall success of the procurement function.

Job Requirements:

  • A recognised degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline is required.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in procurement or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in value analysis, healthcare, or service industries is desirable.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes. Experience in project management within healthcare or healthcare operations is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Good presentation skills, capable of delivering insights to executive leadership.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines under time constraints.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a strong emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive innovation in procurement practices.
