The Opportunity:

An global leading material supplier, primarily serving the high-tech industries. The company is looking for a sustainability manager with key focus in ASIA sites.

The Job:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a strategy to continuously minimize utility consumption within Asia manufacturing sites.
  • Leverage various tools and software to track sustainability metrics such as energy usage, reclaimed water, potable water conservation, waste generation, and recycling efforts. Assess the effectiveness of sustainability programs and recommend necessary enhancements.
  • Conduct site assessments to identify opportunities for resource conservation to meet 2030 CSR goals.
  • Assist site teams in developing and optimizing energy and water conservation projects, while promoting the exchange of best practices across locations. Research and advocate for industry-leading sustainability solutions related to energy, water, waste, and emissions reduction.
  • Establish technical analysis and cost justification standards for sustainability initiatives related to project and product development. Manage multiple projects, setting expectations and ensuring deliverables meet timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks, with consistent and auditable tracking.
  • Evaluate the environmental impact of products and processes from raw material sourcing through production, use, and disposal.
  • Design and execute awareness campaigns and regular company-wide communications to promote and enhance sustainability efforts.
  • Remain up to date on environmental standards, regulations, and best practices, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement of sustainability initiatives.

The Talent:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Urban Studies or relevant disciplines
  • Certified SCEM is a MUST
  • Certified LEED is strongly preferred
  • 5 - 10 years' experience in operation, engineering and ESH. More than 5 years' experience with key focus in ESG field
  • Possess strong communication and written skills. Ability to drive Group strategy by working closely with Global HQ and country stakeholders
