Senior Sales Director: APAC/ SEA Region

Job Responsibilities:

  • The Senior Sales Director will be responsible for driving the generation of new business by strategically planning and executing sales transactions that address the evolving needs of clients' business systems.
  • Oversee primary outside sales functions and serve as the main point of contact for relationship management with both existing and new accounts.
  • Lead the sales efforts mobile robots, solutions, and services, encompassing engineering, installation, commissioning, and post-sales support within assigned territories and accounts.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by securing both new and repeat business from a diverse customer base.
  • Manage and grow large, specialized accounts, as well as partner and third-party relationships, ensuring the company’s objectives are met.
  • Drive market share growth within the assigned region and key accounts.
  • Follow up on qualified leads, execute marketing strategies, collaborate with - Solution Engineers to design tailored proposals, and conduct frequent customer visits to ensure ongoing engagement.
  • Gather and analyze relevant customer data to understand their unique business challenges and develop tailored solutions utilizing internal resources.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for designated customers, ensuring seamless communication and fostering strong relationships.
  • Spearhead account development, contribute to sales planning, and assist in sales forecasting processes.
  • Use CRM tools to track and manage opportunity databases, assess client needs, and provide necessary documentation for cost estimations and contract preparations.
  • Lead negotiations to finalize pricing and contractual terms.
  • Engage in direct sales and marketing activities, including lead follow-up, strategic account management, relationship building with potential clients, and identifying opportunities for system improvements and cost justification.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience within the APAC or SEA Region Market, specifically in logistics and automation sector, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with mobile robotics and fulfillment solutions.
  • Expertise in consultative sales processes, particularly for solution-based offerings.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence key decision-makers during high-stakes sales initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working within an intercultural environment and adaptable to diverse work styles.
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and leadership capabilities.
  • This position requires significant travel, with an expectation of 60 to 80% travel during a typical workweek.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to lead and mentor a high-performing sales team.
