- Track and report on key safety metrics, ensuring continuous improvement and regulatory adherence.
- Lead the development and implementation of Safety Case elements in accordance with MHI regulations.
- Manage ESH-related budgets, approving purchases for necessary consumables and equipment.
- Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and stakeholder requirements, including audits and inspections.
- Assist in planning and executing shutdown activities while ensuring safety compliance.
- Oversee assessments such as stacks monitoring, noise evaluations, and employee health screenings.
- Develop, review, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to environmental, health, and safety processes.
- Liaise with internal teams and external authorities regarding licensing, hazardous substances, and compliance matters.
- Lead inquiries into workplace incidents, ensuring proper documentation and reporting to regulatory bodies.
- Organize internal and external training sessions to ensure staff competency in safety protocols.
- Conduct regular training, coaching, and feedback sessions to enhance workforce competency.
- Evaluate staff adherence to ESH policies and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Bachelor in Environment, Safety and Health, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in Chemical Plant Environment
- Certified in Level C, Confine Space Assessor, WAH Assessor, Biz Safe Level 2
- Well knowledge of ISO 45000, SS651 & 14000, ACTA framework
