Job Description:In this full-time role, you will report to the Assistant Director (Partnership Development) and be part of the dynamic Partnership Development division. You will manage National Gallery Singapore's "Patrons Programme", strengthening relationships with long-term supporters of the Gallery and acquiring new patrons. You will also be the Gallery's lead project manager for its Gala Fundraiser and oversee every aspect of the gala, from conceptualisation to execution, ensuring a seamless and impactful experience for donors while meeting fundraising targets. Your key responsibilities and focus areas will be:Patrons Programme Management & Stewardship
  • Develop and implement and drive strategies to cultivate, engage and retain high net-worth individuals and philanthropists who support the Gallery's mission
  • Oversee the stewardship and growth of the Patrons Programme, ensuring an exceptional donor experience
  • Plan and execute bespoke events for patrons, such as patron's hour, curator-led tours, exclusive meet-and-greets, donors appreciation events and international art trips
  • Work closely with senior leadership to cultivate major gifts, endowments and legacy contributions from patrons
  • Manage regular communications with patrons, including the crafting of impact reports, and the delivery of patron's privileges
  • Track and analyse donor retention and engagement metrics, providing insights to refine strategies
  • Update the Partnership Development leadership regularly on the progress of the "Patrons Programme".
Gala Fundraiser Project Management
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising and event strategy to ensure the success of the gala.
  • Work with board members, committee members and senior management to set and achieve financial targets, including securing sponsorships, table sales, auction items and philanthropic donations.
  • Drive the overall creative direction and branding of the gala, ensuring alignment with the Gallery's mission and positioning.
  • Lead the planning and production of all event components, including but not limited to:
  • Manage venue selection, setup and logistics
  • Develop and manage the event budget, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of execution
  • Oversee negotiations with vendors, production teams, and internal departments (curatorial, marketing, operations)
  • Work with gallerists, curators, artists, and performers to craft an engaging experience
  • Ensure meaningful brand integration for corporate sponsors
  • Manage auctions, pledge drives, and any other fundraising element
  • Troubleshoot and ensure smooth on-the-ground execution on the event day
Micro-giving Programme Management
  • Develop engaging micro-giving campaigns that encourage small, recurring donations
  • Collaborate with exhibitions and festival teams to integrate micro-giving options into the visitor experience
  • Work with internal departments utilizing digital platforms and social media to create compelling calls-to-action
  • Manage digital donation platforms for a seamless donor experience
  • Analyse campaign performance for insights on donor engagement and ROI
  • Integrate micro-giving into broader fundraising efforts in collaboration with the team
  • Track and update Partnership Development team and management on the Micro-Giving donations.
General Partnership Development Division duties
  • Oversee Partnership Development Division's overall budget and work closely with Finance to ensure timely reports and issuance of tax deduction receipts
  • Support Partner Development's donor cultivation and stewardship events
  • Manager and regularly update Gallery's CRM database.
  • Be a team player
  • Execute appropriate ad hoc duties/events to further the goals of the Partnership Development various divisions
Qualifications:Education/Training/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in arts management, marketing, communications or any other related field.
  • Preferably at least 5 years of fundraising/partnership experience, with demonstrable knowledge of soliciting and stewarding donors and a strong track record of success.
  • Strong team player with humility when it comes to learning and engaging stakeholders.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality results within specified timelines, demonstrating a strong focus on efficiency, productivity and proactive problem-solving.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills with the ability to clearly articulate fundraising and partnership strategies and plans.
  • Proven track record of achieving challenging goals and objectives.
  • Experience in engaging, build relationships and influencing diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Have a good network and relationships of potential donors, patrons, industry peers
  • Strong analytical, networking, interpersonal and prospecting skills, detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize goals.
