Job Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualise, plan and execute SIAC’s promotion and outreach activities, or other virtual, in-person and hybrid events
  • Support all aspects of SIAC and YSIAC events and conferences, both locally and overseas, including overseeing the operational and logistical aspects of events (e.g. registration, venue selection and set up including staging and audio systems, and managing external vendors, etc)
  • Manage marketing and events budget, ensuring optimal utilisation of resources
  • Support the production of digital and visual assets like event collaterals (flyers, brochures and marketing materials) and social media posts as well as content dissemination and amplification
  • Provide corporate communications and marketing administrative support
  • Undertake such other work as may be assigned by the Reporting Officer and organisation from time to time

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications with at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Able to work both independently and as a team
  • Possess video editing and graphic design skills
  • Good events and time management skills
  • Hands-on experience in supporting in-person, hybrid and virtual events
  • Demonstrated skills in problem-solving and stakeholder management
  • Strong communication (both written and spoken) and interpersonal skills
  • Able to travel regionally for events (2 to 3 times a year)
