Job DescriptionLooking for a dynamic role where you will be part of our shared service centre, driving financial excellence, and make a real impact on monthly reporting and decision-making?Here's an exciting opportunity for you to join our Team to make a real impact in our organization!No relocation assistance is provided for this role.Core responsibilitiesPerform month end journal posting and support relevant colleagues with their Manual Journal Entries requests as neededPerform cost center allocationsCollaborate with Interco team for OPEX & Marketing related expenses in intercompany accountsPerform rent free calculation and set up CAFMPerform & review end to end payroll activities, OPEX & contribution to trade activities the Regional & Global teamsWork with controlling team for process governance and controlsPerform monthly Trial Balance review and accounting analysis, to ensure high quality and timely reporting.Perform Balance Sheet reconciliationsDrive ad hoc/yearly KMP confirmationCoordinate audit activities (yearly)Support Financial Statement notes preparationMonitor and drive GL KPI performanceIdentify compliance risks in daily operations and help drive resolutions or mitigation of risks by implementing internal controlsPlay your part in our team succeedingYou will be a part of Business Service Operations (BSO), which is a shared service center that delivers Employee and Finance services to The LEGO Group from 5 locations – Monterrey, Prague, Singapore, China and Vietnam. The purpose of the BSO is to create an effective and efficient platform to support the growth strategy of The LEGO Group and our ambitions to reach twice as many children over the next 5-7 years. Joining this team will put you in a professional environment with a culture that is focused on quality, learning and collaboration.Within BSO, the GL team is responsible for the maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of the consolidation reports and meeting the global tax and statutory compliance requirements. The department balances a mix of internal resources and third parties to efficiently meet global compliance requirements. There is a strong focus on transparent and accurate status reporting, maintaining a strong internal control framework, using technology and standard processes to meet our operational targets.The role requires a teammate who is independent and has a self-starter mentality, one who can deliver operational objectives through collaboration and with a service approach towards key business partners.Do you have what it takes?More than 3 years of audit and/or financial accounting experience with solid experience in accounting regulations, preferably in a global MNC environmentProactive and self-motivated with a strong ability to work independently.Strong knowledge of accounting standards like IFRS, with thorough understanding of theoretical and practical aspects of accounting and compliance.Proficiency in financial systems, including SAP and Excel.Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to lead tight deadlines.Strong communication and collaboration skills with experience collaborating across cross-functional teams and geographies, including APAC and global team members.Strong problem-solving skills to address local-specific complexities and align them with global processes.Take on problems through effective cross functional collaboration when faced with complex situations/challenges.Curious!#LI-JL3Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
