Position Purpose: Contribute to the on-going growth of BLG – Singapore & Asia Pacific with analytical and operational support across the range of activities needed to successfully execute market development initiatives. Specifically, the role will cover the market development of Singapore and surrounding APAC regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and evaluate new market opportunities within the APAC region, developing strategies for expansion and penetration.
  2. Create and execute regional sales and development plans in alignment with business objectives for the APAC market
  3. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with distributors, partners, and key accounts in Singapore and the region
  4. Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, marketing, and supply chain teams to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives.
  5. Achieve or exceed quantitative and qualitative sales objectives
  6. Provide input for annual budgeting and sales forecasting
  7. Analyse and report on market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive activities in the APAC region
  8. Maintain and manage customer data in CRM systems to track sales performance, monitor client engagement, and enhance account management.
  9. Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards, adapting sales strategies to meet market-specific legal and operational requirements.
  10. Support additional projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  1. Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Chemistry, Food Engineering, or related fields
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG industry, preferably in food or ingredient products
  3. Strong track record in B2B sales within the APAC region
  4. Excellent communication and organizational skills with a problem-solving mindset
  5. Willing to travel within APAC region
  6. Proficient in CRM systems & MS Office suite
  7. Good command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin
  8. Prior experience in sales within the industrial food manufacturing and catering sectors is preferred
  9. Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents preferred
