It isn’t a question.We are looking to provide a learning opportunity for an Intern in the Southeast Asia & Taiwan (SEAT) Corporate Affairs & Communications team to design and execute the Corporate Affairs & Communications strategy for the region. This internship opportunity will support on internal communications and events such as Townhalls, Viva Engage, support on external communications on LinkedIn and support Government Affairs and NGO partnerships.Title of Hiring Manager: Head of Corporate Affairs, Southeast Asia & Taiwan (SEAT)Number of internship positions: 1Preferred Period of Internship Required: Able to start immediately and ideally commit all through 2025. Open to undergraduate/postgraduate students that can commit on a part-time basis (minimum 16 hours per week). Also open to students seeking summer internships (May to August 2025).Preferred School/Course of Intern: Undergraduate/postgraduate students in Business, Communications, Social Science disciplines.Key Responsibilities:You will be required to:
  • Collate key activities and milestones across SEAT for content communications
  • Maintain and execute SEAT content calendar for Viva Engage and Linked In
  • Prepare and execute social media posts for Haleon
  • Prepare and finetune videos, presentations etc for internal and external meetings
  • Support in townhalls planning, executing and content creation
  • Support for Government and NGO engagements
  • Other support as needed for the SEAT Corporate Affairs Leader
Learning Outcomes:Throughout the course of the internship, you will attain the following learning objectives:
  • Gain a strong understanding of how Corporate Affairs and Communications departments work in real time
  • Put together a social media and content strategy for Corporate Brand
  • Understand how corporates engage with external stakeholders like media, government etc
  • Learn more about employee engagement and communications

  • Educational background – Degree in Communications and/or Policy
  • Proficient in use of IT and software/systems, ideally document management and database systems
