- Develop, coordinate and conduct programmes to suit residents’ holistic needs
- Organize social and recreational group excursions
- Review programmes to ensure relevance and effectiveness in meeting needs of all residents
- Develop and oversee programme to ensure quality control and compliance procedures (eg. proper documentation and resident safety in line with SOP)
- Responsible for reporting requirements and updates to supervisor
- Manage engagement and performance of the programme residence volunteer team
- Support professional development of the programme team
- Guide members & seniors in monitoring health station and registration of programmes via digital devices.
- Review information materials for notice board or distribution prepare by Centre Support staff
- Procure consumables and supplies as required with proper monitoring of budget allocated
- Participate in quality improvement committee, and serve as a role model
- Ensure the safety, comfort and well-being of the clients
- Conduct home visits to residents in the community as and when required
- Maintain good communication and feedback with residents and sponsors
- Any other additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor or Centre Manager
- Possess minimum Advance/Higher/Certificate in Community & Social Service (Senior Care Services) or 'O' Levels qualification
- Competency in eldercare service with at least 2 years working experience in an eldercare institution
- Able to perform administrative tasks and possess basic Microsoft Office literacy.
- Passion and desire to work with different profiles of seniors
- Able to plan, develop and implement programmes to meet the needs of seniors
- Able to engage, befriend and motivate seniors through facilitation of activities or programmes
- Able to prepare and conduct care programmes for seniors; e.g daily news chats/cooking therapy/art & craft/singing sessions/dancing, reminiscence therapy; etc.
