In this role, you will oversee all QC and laboratory activities, including sample management and analysis of raw materials and finished products. You will be responsible for reviewing supplier Certificates of Analysis (COA) and production batch reports to ensure compliance with quality standards. Key duties include managing the product release processes, investigating out-of-specification results, and ensuring timely resolution. You will also be tasked with maintaining lab equipment, planning calibration schedules, validating new testing methods, and supporting internal audits. Additionally, you will manage chemical waste disposal and ensure compliance with safety regulations.Skills and Experience Required
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in quality control, with expertise in HPLC, FTIR, and microbiology.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with knowledge of GLP, GMP, FSCC22000, ISO 17025, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Experience in Nutritional Premix and/or Infant Nutrition is a plus.
- Experience in setting up a lab is an advantage.
